Ayurveda is a complete system of Medicine divided into 8 different branches. For more then 3 thousands years, the light of its principles has been helping millions of people in India and around the planet to return to health. Ayurveda is closely related to Yoga and Tantra, and way back in time, they were naturally practiced in parallel, as one tradition supports and prepares for practicing the other. Ayurveda is a avant gard science, as it encompasses many levels of the human complex, its foundations address the physical body, the emotional body, the energetic body and even spiritual. In modern science those different levels are approached separately whereas Ayurveda brings the connection between all of them. Ayurveda as been for many generations transmitted orally, amongst family or tribe members, but also through several ancient and extensive scriptures, being Charaka Samhita and Sushruta Samhita the most well known.
